Our Smiling Sunday is not restricted to WCC, it is accessible to all because learning together via workshops is key to self-empowerment and social justice. We welcome new volunteers that can help our movement.
Smiling is often very hard to do when you feel like there is no hope because Goliath organisations undermine natural justice. As an example of some of our helpful topics covered, our friends from Sign Health Charity have shared 12 steps to resilience. Smiling Sunday is a friendly group, that is every last Sunday of the month. We also use Smiling Sunday's to discuss minutes from meetings. The topics range from wellbeing, constitutional law to journaling.
Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned group of residents, independent businesses, courts, and local charities that choose to focus on improving a fundamental right that we all deserve. Safety, dignity and justice.
The awesome Dr Sarah Powell is sharing helpful tools to overcome adversity. If you feel that you cannot talk to via the group or your friends or family, SignHealth Charity are here to help. The aim is to look at ways we can make our mind healthy.
Goliath organisations tend to close ranks to cover up failings in addition to gaslighting victims of injustice. Dame Vera Baird KC quit her role as VC due to being sidelined, however that does not mean that we should lose hope. In a society that sidelines the voices of marginalised residents this video will help with the upcoming survey. The injustices that many face will be discussed from institutional failures, online bullying and how to navigate the justice system after the incident has happened..
"The Smiling Sunday “Hope for the future& constitution” was very informative and helpful for a lot of problems as well as possible solutions were discussed, the importance of rule of law and how my voice matters."
"Joining the space is helpful to me and it reshaped my thinking, from negative to positive thoughts."
"Not only me, but everyone’s voice was included for the discussion, there’s an inclusiveness discussion, sharing of experiences, thoughts and ideas from wide range of voices were entertained. "
