Many residents are suffering in silence and denied dignity, by a system that has a deeply held belief on the virtues of inequality.
Too many powerful organisations deliberately encourage oppression by paying lip service to the concept of social justice and the rule of law without having sufficient regard for what it actually means.
Community Case Studies programme is for those that need assistance with housing or constitutional law issues. The core services we offer is written and oral advocacy via pro bono volunteers. This is an integral part of our platform that bridges the gap between the barriers many face.
All cases are expedited by part-time volunteers who have donated time to help those who require assistance to move their lives forward in a positive way. Please see our FAQ
The Community Case Studies can also be used for referrals if an issue falls outside of our remit for example strategic litigation.
Smiling can sometimes be very difficult when rights are stripped away.
Our Smiling Sunday programme is a friendly workshop and a chance to share ideas and learn important information. It works by connecting hand picked professionals and gathering together to educate, inspire and smile. Community resilience matters.
At The Westminster Hub we believe that we are all connected. Thus learning together via educational workshops is key to self-empowerment and social justice.
Helpful topics so far ranged from practical ways to hope, administrative law, tort, housing issues and indirect discrimination Q&As.
Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team of residents, independent businesses, courts, universities and charities that choose to focus on improving a fundamental right that all residents deserve.
People need people and knowledge is power.
